Meet Jennifer Hankey: Founder
Jennifer Hankey is the President and CEO of Healthy Green Schools, an educational school greening program to transform schools into safer, healthier and more sustainable environments for children and staff. As an avid researcher and teacher in the field of toxins and their effects on children, she has educated thousands of parents, teachers and professionals about the dangers of chemicals in everyday products. Jennifer uses her knowledge and working relationships with sustainable, health-conscious companies to provide solutions for schools on a budget. Healthy Green Schools was launched specifically to provide "green" education to teachers, administrators and parents and to help all schools remove toxic chemicals from their schools affordably.
As the Mother of two little girls, Jennifer’s passions and personal convictions about protecting all children from the damaging effects of everyday chemicals led her to create a nationwide movement with Healthy Green Schools in order to allow every child to have a healthy learning environment.
Jennifer currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, two children and dog Winnie. She earned a Masters of Education degree from Chapman University and a BA from University of Georgia.
